Im awake still.. I wish u were here..but u aint..and u wont be here anymore..

..but still..I love and adore u..still, these hopes and wishes never fade..they just wont die..

They say with love comes agony. that the pains of missing them every day and night isn't as searing as the agony of sensing signs it's ending. When their messages of affection that used to cover you like petals of roses become as sparse as leaves in a frigid winter. When you feel the distance growing each day..you can't explain it, but you know it's happening. When it's becoming more obvious you're the one chasing with no shame.

Then you discover the truth. You ask why, but you already know the real answer that lies behind the reply. The more you ask, the more you realize you've become a disturbance.

And you're awakened that your presence no longer makes a difference. You're there, you're not there — it's all the same. You're tolerated, not admired.

I see the walls crumbling all around me.. Yet I don't know where we stand this very moment. Are we done, or am I just deceiving myself that we're somehow still held together by a string as brittle as glass? The only thing I know is even you are not my first, you are sure to be, my last..The one I wish to spend my whole life with..

I have always loved you, and always will. I just don't want to meddle into your life any more than you do.

May God give me the strength to detach with grace and dignity. If it's just a break that you need, I will remain here for you, still loving you as I always have. But if you've found someone else, I will understand and weep in my solitude..
